Straight feeding stuff for pigeons
The mixture must meet all the requirements of the “modern” carrier pigeon. But there is much more to it than that. Take our ZUCHT EXCLUSIV, for example.
For many years, pigeon fanciers thought that nothing was easier than breeding young pigeons. A simple normal mixture, add a handful of peas and you have a breeding mixture.
But what do we find out after so many years? That this protein feed is too one-sided, too simple. That’s why we have replaced the peas as a source of protein with other grains that have an even higher and higher quality protein content.
This is how ZUCHT EXCLUSIV came into being.
The result was astounding. Tests on our own lofts showed that the young flock reared with ZUCHT EXCLUSIV could be weaned onto the young stock loft exactly three days earlier than the young pigeons that had to be content with a “normal” mixture.
Because young pigeons are the future, the conclusion is very simple.
