Dari, also known as sorghum, is a type of millet. Dari has the size of a hemp seed. The seed originates from the warm regions of Australia, Asia, Africa and South America. There are three varieties: Dari white, yellow and red-brown. It should be noted that we generally place more value on Dari white than Dari red-brown. In terms of nutritional value as a food, there is not the slightest difference between the colors. Dari has more starch than wheat. The seed is also rich in amino acids and the protein in dari has a high leucine content.
