It also contains high levels of fructo-oligo-sacgarides (FOS). These FOS from chicory are fibrous substances that stimulate the growth of lactic acid bacteria in the intestine.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: small\">Application notes<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: small\">Intestino should be added to the feed immediately after weaning the young animals.
