Yellow peas 2.5 kg
Straight feeding stuff for birds The pea (Pisum sativum) belongs to the subfamily of the papilionaceous plants within the legume family. The protein-rich peas have therefore been an important crop for humans and animals for thousands of years. The 3-12 cm long pods of the legumes contain an average of 4-10 seeds, the actual edible peas, which come in different colors depending on the variety and degree of ripeness: yellow peas, green peas, brownish peas and, more rarely, black peas. Peas are rich in essential amino acids such as cysteine, methionine, lysine, isoleucine, leucine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan and valine. Peas are also rich in minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, magnesium, iron, manganese and copper. Instructions for use: Yellow peas usually contain a little more starch than green peas and are a popular feed component for pigeon breeders during breeding and the racing season. They are well suited for mixing into the individual feeding plan. Legumes, such as yellow peas, can be used in self-mixed cooked feed for parrots or mash. Composition: 100% yellow peas
