Supplement for pigeon’s health
The ingredients of willow bark are salicylic alcohol glycosides, flavonoids, phenolic carboxylic acids and tannins. The salicin is broken down in the intestine to salical alcohol and glucose and then converted in the liver to salicylic acid, the active ingredient in aspirin. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to write about how willow bark works in pigeons. However, we recommend using it during the cold and wet season and before mating.

Instructions for proper use:
Mix 1 heaped tablespoon of willow bark with 1 liter of cold water and heat slowly to boiling point. Then remove from the heat and leave to infuse for another 5 minutes. Allow the tea to cool and add undiluted to the drinking trough. We recommend feeding on 2 consecutive days before mating and before traveling. During the journey on one day after the flight, during moulting every 4 weeks on 2 consecutive days and for weaned young pigeons also every 4 weeks on 2 consecutive days. Store in a dry place protected from light.
