Backs p igeon cake was developed back in 1898 by Theodor Backs, one of the best and most famous pigeon fanciers of his time, and was initially made from quartz, clay, lime and salt and baked in his grandmother’s oven in Bochum. In 1954, the company was able to present its products for the first time at the association’s exhibition. At that time, the product range comprised just four items: Sieger-Grit, Taubenkuchen, Darre Pillen and Remedy. With Michael Backs, the 4th generation joined the company in 1993 and the product range was again considerably expanded. In addition to products for pigeon fanciers, products for all small animals were also firmly established. Backs has a comprehensive range of by-products and accessories for racing and racing pigeons, and the use of Backs sulphur bloom is particularly recommended during the moulting period.Backs Moor Concentrate consists of valuable humus compounds, minerals, tannins and is suitable for diarrhea symptoms. Backs liquid tea is designed to get pigeons into top form in the shortest possible time. Backs VI-Spu-Min is a mineral feed lime with lots of vitamins and amino acids. It can be given at any time with Backs Rodimin. This is a popular supplementary feed, especially for the breeding period.
