Supplementary feed for racing pigeons
It contains high-quality magnesium compounds as well as organic calcium, which work together to ensure good usability in the body. Different protein carriers complement each other in an optimal form to create a balanced amino acid ratio. Omega-3 fatty acids are available in a form that is directly available for metabolism. The recovery is supported by the emulsifying agent lecithin.
Just like a high-performance athlete, high-performance racing pigeons need magnesium to protect them against muscle acidity and to support muscle contractions. Magnesium is still important for more than 300 different metabolic processes in the body. The interplay of organic and inorganic magnesium in conjunction with valuable calcium sources ensures optimal storage in the body and thus also the intended effect on the metabolism.
Magnesi-a-gold contains protein carriers (various yeasts and rice protein) of various types. Yeast is not the same as yeast. Yeasts differ in their composition of amino acids. When selecting the yeasts, particular care was taken to ensure that they complement each other optimally in terms of the amino acid ratio. The rice protein ideally expands and improves the amino acid spectrum.
Magnesi-a-gold contains omega-3 fatty acids of a special kind. They are long-chain fatty acids (called DHA). These do not come from fish, but from special algae. It is known that omega-3 fatty acids from algae tend to oxidize much less than those from fish. The proportion of DHA, which is particularly interesting for the metabolism, is much higher. These long-chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids (DHA) cannot be adequately formed by the animal body itself. They must also be ingested with food. The DHA are therefore also referred to as essential fatty acids. These important omega-3 fatty acids help keep the veins clear and the blood flowing. The DHA have a positive influence on the cell membrane. The higher the proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, the more flexible and resilient the membranes become.
Lecithin as an emulsification aid is an important component in Magnesi-a-gold. Fatty acids (such as DHA) require lecithin to be incorporated into the body.
Instructions for use:
Breeding: regular administration (2-3 times a week) ensures good growth of the youngsters in the breeding. Magnesi-a-gold can also be administered alternately with tarsin. – Dosage: 3 x weekly 1 level measuring spoon / kg of grain feed
Travel: Magnesi-a-gold is particularly important in travel preparation. Before the racing pigeons get free flight again in spring, Magnesi-a-gold should be administered daily for 7 days. This prevents the so-called “Schieffflug syndrome” by reducing muscle acidity. It also supports blood circulation. During the trip, Magnesi-a-gold should only be given at the beginning of the week. The pigeons are calmer and therefore have more time to regenerate. At the beginning of the journey, the pigeon needs a slightly higher amount of magnesium. If the pigeon is fully in travel training, the dose of Magnesi-a-gold can be reduced somewhat. With regular use, an additional magnesium supplement can be dispensed with. – Dosage: 1 level measuring spoon / kg of grain feed per day for 7 days before the start of the training flights, then 2 days per week. During the travel season, preferably at the beginning of the week (Monday and Tuesday, if Sunday is the return day) 1-2 level measuring spoons / kg of grain feed, depending on the stress of the pigeon on the previous flight.
Moult: in this area, especially the DHA, the balanced aminogram and lecithin of Magnesi-a-gold’s are fully developed. – Dosage: 3 x weekly 1 level measuring spoon / kg of grain feed
