Re-Scha Magnesi-a-gold 300g
Supplementary feed for racing pigeons
It contains high-quality magnesium compounds and organic calcium, which together ensure good utilization in the body. Various protein sources complement each other in an optimal form to create a balanced amino acid ratio. Omega-3 fatty acids are present in a form that is directly available to the metabolism. Utilization is supported by the emulsifying agent lecithin.
High-performance racing pigeons, like high-performance athletes, need magnesium to protect against muscle acidification and to support muscle contractions. Magnesium is also important for more than 300 different metabolic processes in the body. The interaction of organic and inorganic magnesium in combination with valuable sources of calcium ensures optimum storage in the body and thus also the intended effect in the metabolism.
Magnesi-a-gold contains different types of protein carriers (various yeasts and rice protein). Not all yeasts are the same. Yeasts differ in their composition of amino acids. When selecting the yeasts, particular attention was paid to ensuring that they optimally complement each other in terms of the amino acid ratio. The rice protein expands and improves the amino acid spectrum in an ideal way.
Magnesi-a-gold contains a special kind of omega-3 fatty acids. These are long-chain fatty acids (called DHA). These do not come from fish, but from special algae. It is known that omega-3 fatty acids from algae are significantly less prone to oxidation than those from fish. The proportion of DHA, which is particularly interesting for the metabolism, is also much higher. These long-chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids (DHA) cannot be sufficiently formed by the animal body itself. They must also be taken in with food. DHAs are therefore also referred to as essential fatty acids. These important omega-3 fatty acids help to keep the arteries clear and the blood flowing. DHAs have a positive influence on the cell membrane. The higher the proportion of unsaturated fatty acids, the more mobile and resilient the membranes become.
Lecithin as an emulsifying agent is an important component in Magnesi-a-gold. Fatty acids (such as DHA) require lecithin to be incorporated into the body.
Instructions for use:
Breeding: regular administration (2-3 times a week) ensures good growth of the young pigeons during rearing. Magnesi-a-gold can also be administered alternately with Tarsin. – Dosage: 3 x weekly 1 level measuring spoon/kg grain feed
Travel: Magnesi-a-gold is particularly important when preparing for travel. Before the racing pigeons are given free flight again in spring, Magnesi-a-gold should be administered daily for 7 days. By reducing muscle acidification, this prevents the so-called “pigeon flyer syndrome”. It also supports blood circulation. During the race, Magnesi-a-gold should only be administered at the beginning of the week. The pigeons are calmer and therefore have more time to regenerate. At the beginning of the journey the pigeon needs a slightly higher amount of magnesium. If the pigeon is fully trained for racing, the amount of Magnesi-a-gold can be reduced slightly. With regular use, additional magnesium supplementation can be dispensed with. – Dosage: before the start of training flights 1 level dosage spoon/kg grain feed daily for 7 days, then weekly for 2 days. During the racing season, if possible at the beginning of the week (Monday and Tuesday, if Sunday is the day of return) 1-2 level dosage spoons/kg grain feed depending on the pigeon’s stress during the previous flight.
Moulting: this is where the DHA, balanced aminogram and lecithin of Magnesi-a-gold come into their own. – Dosage: 3 x weekly 1 level measuring spoon/kg grain feed
