Re-scha Fru-tin-fluid 660g
Liquid feed supplement for ornamental birds and racing pigeons
Fru-tin-fluid®, formerly also known as “Frutin”, binds powdered feed permanently to the grain, germ, soft or rearing feed by hardening.
Fru-tin-fluid® contains various sugars of biological origin. Many good-natured microorganisms (e.g. lactic acid bacteria, also known as lactobacilli) require different types of sugary substances to maintain their metabolism. Lactic acid bacteria can multiply much better under favorable nutritional conditions in the small intestine. Experiments have shown that lactic acid bacteria can multiply 100 to 1000 times more in the small intestine in combination with Fru-tin-fluid® and the re-scha® product Tarsin. The chicory powder contained in Fru-tin-fluid® with the valuable inulin ingredient is also worth mentioning in this context. A small note: the body is dependent on the presence of lactic acid bacteria, among other things, to metabolize inulin.
Fru-tin-fluid® has a high carbohydrate content. This provides additional energy during breeding, travel and moulting.
Fru-tin-fluid® contains a mixture of tropical and local fruits (pineapple, apricot, strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry, redcurrant, papaya and peach). With their wide range of vital substances, these fruit substances ensure a more varied diet.
Fru-tin-fluid® supplements the mineral supply by adding calcium gluconate, which is highly available to the body.
Thanks to its high binding capacity (“adhesive effect”), Fru-tin-fluid® reduces nutrient losses that inevitably occur when feed particles are mixed with oil and remain in the feed bowl for a long time. Thanks to Fru-tin-fluid®, the mixing process can be made more flexible. It does not have to be mixed before each feeding. This means that it can be mixed for several days in advance without having to worry about added particles falling off the feed. There is also a trend for many bird and racing pigeon keepers to make use of the “sticky effect” of Fru-tin-fluid® when administering medication via the feed.
Composition:
Sugar, chicory powder, fruit powder (from pineapple, apricot, strawberry, grapefruit, blueberry, redcurrant, papaya and peach), calcium gluconate and water, moisture content: 30%.
Application:
Fru-tin-fluid® can of course be used all year round and over a longer period of time.
Fru-tin-fluid® is the ideal binding agent for re-schas lactic acid bacteria (see Ac-i-prim®). Lactic acid bacteria bound to the grain feed with Fru-tin-fluid® remain viable for at least 5 days, even at room temperature.
The mixing process with Fru-tin-fluid® can be organized as follows: first, the amount of feed required for one day or several days is balanced. Then add the appropriate amount of Fru-tin-fluid® and stir the feed until most of the feed particles are wetted with Fru-tin-fluid®. Only now is the powdered feed supplement to be bound (e.g. Tarsin, Frucht-mash, Immun-o-flash®, Poly-min) added. A second mixing container is very useful for the mixing process. This allows the feed to be tilted back and forth several times to achieve optimum distribution of all the particles added. The finished mixture can be fed fresh immediately or left to dry for a day at room temperature.
The following must be observed if re-schas® lactic acid bacteria (see Ac-i-prim®) are to be bound to the feed: First, Fru-tin-fluid® is mixed well with the lactic acid bacteria in a cup to ensure that it is evenly distributed on the feed. If the resulting “slurry” is too viscous to stir in, a few drops of water (re-schas® Panta-20 is also possible) can be added to achieve a slightly more liquid consistency. The resulting slurry is then stirred into the feed and the powdered feed supplement(s) (e.g. Tarsin, Frucht-mash, Immun-o-flash®, Poly-min) are added in a second step while stirring.
Dosage:
Grain or sprouted feed: approx. 8-20ml Fru-tin-fluid®/kg feed.
Soft or rearing feed: approx. 20ml Fru-tin-fluid®/kg feed.
If the mixture is too dry, the amount of Fru-tin-fluid® can of course be increased.
The content of one tablespoon corresponds to approx. 8-10ml Fru-tin-fluid®.
Important additional information:
Fru-tin-fluid® is manufactured aseptically and therefore always tip the liquid out of the bottle and please do not draw any liquid out of the bottle with a syringe. If the neck of the bottle gets a little sticky, please clean it with a damp paper towel. After opening, the bottle must be stored in the refrigerator and the contents must be used within a maximum of 6 months.
