Tarsin 300g

Tarsin is a supplementary feed for racing pigeons that proves its high effectiveness in breeding, racing and moulting.

Tarsin contains carefully selected vegetables. They are the nutritional basis for good-natured small intestine bacteria (such as lactobacilli) and therefore the ideal supplement to the re-scha lactobacilli (PT-12). Carbohydrate-rich vegetables in particular, with their various types of sugar, are an ideal nutrient medium for lactobacilli. This allows them (e.g. PT-12, lactobacillus salivarius) to thrive better under favorable conditions in the small intestine. Tests have shown that PT-12 lactobacilli can multiply 100 to 1000 times more in the small intestine when combined with frutin and tarsin. This significantly increases the “booster effect” of the lactobacilli.

The richness of vitamin C in vegetables is well known. Vitamin C is needed by the body to support the immune system, among other things. Vitamins of the B group (especially vit. B1 and vit. B2) are also found in vegetables. They play a very important role in the process of energy production from fats, carbohydrates and amino acids. The minerals contained in vegetables are also important for a smooth metabolism
.
Tarsin contains a balanced amount of green-lipped mussel. It is the insider tip for good joint motor function. The green-lipped mussel contains a high concentration of glycosaminoglycans (so-called GAGs). GAGs are a special sugar-protein compound and have excellent bioavailability. The green-lipped mussel also contains a high proportion of omega-3 fatty acids. This enables it to support the body in building up connective tissue, joint cartilage and synovial fluid (“synovial fluid”).

Tarsin improves the body’s amino acid pool with its high-quality protein sources of natural origin. Pigeons need the amino acids alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, cystine, glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, serine, threonine, tyrosine and valine. Amino acids are known to support muscle growth and the immune system. Tarsin contains valuable raw products from natural sources that contain these amino acids.

Tarsin also contains high-quality lecithin. During digestion, it ensures that dietary fats are absorbed by the body. As a vital nutritional component, lecithin supports physical performance. Without lecithin there is no respiratory chain. With regular administration of tarsin, there is no need for additional supplementation of lecithin in pigeons.

Tarsin is added in a high dose of carnitine. It is particularly important for the transportation of fatty acids. Carnitine transports the fatty acids to their place of degradation. Many biochemical processes cannot take place without the direct or indirect support of carnitine.

Tarsin contains trace elements in chelated form. It is now known that organically bound trace elements can pass through the intestinal wall better than inorganic trace elements. As a rule, it is not the absolute quantity of trace elements supplied but their digestibility (i.e. their absorption capacity) that is important for their effectiveness. Trace elements are particularly important in the body as a component and activator of enzymes.

Tarsin also contains vitamin E and selenium as additives. Vitamin E protects the fatty substances in particular from free radical attack. Selenium is an essential trace element for the body. The immune system in particular needs selenium to function properly. Free oxygen radicals are dangerous compounds that must be removed from the body or prevented from forming in order to maintain the immune system.

In breeding, tarsin supports the readiness to mate, fertilization and growth of the young animals.

Tarsin conditions the pigeon for the journey and at the same time promotes an impressive willingness to perform even under difficult travel conditions (headwind flights).

Tarsin provides important raw materials during moulting that are necessary for a perfect moulting process and an intact, silky feather.

Instructions for use: In order for Tarsin to develop its full effect, it should be bound to the grain feed with Frutin if possible. Tarsin and Frutin complement each other in their effect. As Frutin has a very good adhesive effect, the grain feed can even be mixed several days in advance.

Feeding with tarsin should not be limited to just one meal a day, but should be extended to the morning and evening grain feed. Frutin and Tarsin should therefore be added to the entire grain feed fed during the day. Tarsin’s full efficacy potential opens up when PT-12 lactobacilli are used at the same time (over 10-14 days). The lactobacilli of PT-12 remain fully viable on the feed mixed with Frutin and Tarsin, even for several days at room temperature. In the travel preparation phase (spring), Tarsin is the ideal supplement to Magnesi-a-gold, especially due to the special properties of the green-lipped mussel.

Breeding: 1 level dosage spoon of Tarsin/kg grain feed daily over the entire breeding period.
Travel: 1-2 level dosing spoons of tarsin/kg grain feed on 2-3 consecutive days, preferably towards the weekend (see also the “Travel plan”).
Moulting: 1 level dosage spoon of Tarsin/kg grain feed at least 3 times a week.

Package insert: 1 dosing spoon, contents spread filled = 4 g Tarsin
